While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I found behind its doors was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The surfaces were tacky , and a pungent odor of decaying beverages and dirty bathrooms suffused the entire bar . With a smell of a mixture of human waste, old age and illness . The serving zone , which should be the focal point of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and debris that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . Described as disturbingly assertive and disrespectful , Peter Cornwell’s behavior has created an intimidating space for women who frequent Masterson’s. His presence at the bar often seemed closer to that of a sweating predator than a friendly owner .
